PIM (Product Information Management)
Product Information Management, or PIM for short, refers to the central management of all product data held by a company. A PIM system collects dimensions, materials, prices, texts, translations and images in one place and distributes them to the online shop, marketplaces, retail partners and catalogues. A change is made once and takes effect across every channel. How it differs: the ERP manages stock and accounting, the PIM manages how the product is described externally.
