Product Content Management

Product Content Management, or PCM for short, refers to the creation, maintenance and approval of the descriptive content about a product. This includes product copy, image captions, application notes, translations and the editorial processes behind them, such as who writes a text and who approves it. How it differs: PIM manages the structured product data, PCM manages the editorial content and the process by which it is created.
