wedi has modernised its Digital Asset Management processes and, together with Advellence, implemented Sharedien as a central content hub.
The project was initiated in response to a complex, catalogue-driven product communication landscape and the growing shift from print to primarily digital product communication. Media assets were not centrally accessible, and PIM and media content were not sufficiently integrated into the company’s content processes.
With Sharedien, Wedi introduced a dedicated DAM system that centrally manages media assets and connects PIM, DAM and print systems via API interfaces. This creates consistent data flows between product data, media assets and communication channels.
In addition, AI supports better asset discoverability and enables workflow automation. As a result, Wedi gains a clear overview of its entire media inventory, reduces duplicates and file chaos, and streamlines content production across formats and channels.
With its new DAM platform, Wedi now has a scalable and future-proof foundation for efficient media processes, smooth product communication and faster time-to-market.
