New Business Intelligence Platform for ABB Switzerland

At ABB, Advellence further developed a reporting platform to support sales activities.

Initial Situation

In 2011, ABB commissioned Advellence to further develop a reporting platform to support sales activities and integrate it into the existing system landscape. Advellence accepted the order in their tried and tested men: they created the necessary interfaces for the reporting platform with determination, precision and in close coordination with the local customer.

Advellence completed the solution on time with the expected range of functions. The platform is now used extensively across the Group. With Advellence, ABB has seen the benefits of working with a local Swiss provider.

Targets

ABC's sales and marketing organization constantly needs up-to-date information on the status of sales activities. A newly adapted business intelligence platform should provide information scattered across various systems.

Project manager Stephan Petersen wanted a local partner who could make the task a success in close coordination with ABB. Advellence was chosen, partly because their experts suggested working at ABB two days a week and consistently developing the solution together with the customer.
