Implementing Digital Projects Successfully
Up to 50 percent of all digital projects fail. In this e-paper, we show you why this happens and what skills your implementation partner needs to bring to the table.

Why software projects fail
The analyst firm Gartner regularly reports on the high failure rate of AI projects and the primary reasons behind them. Recent estimates suggest that 40 percent of agentic AI projects and 50 percent of GenAI projects are discontinued without success.
However, it is not just AI-related projects which are often experimental in nature for many companies that are at risk. It becomes truly critical when transformative digital projects involving core operational software solutions are at risk of failing. Whether it is an SAP S/4HANA migration, a PIM replacement project, or an MDM implementation, these projects often drag on for years and frequently consume millions.
While the risks can at least be partially identified, project managers usually struggle to quantify the benefits. A modern PIM system can drive efficiency gains across a wide range of business areas provided the framework conditions are right and the solution has been implemented correctly.
