A seamless system transition at Thalia

Thalia fundamentally modernized its product world with the help of Advellence: A scalable PIM replaces the complex old solution, harmonizes supplier data from a wide range of sources and creates a uniform article truth.

In close cooperation, processes were rethought, data models expanded and Syndigo established as a central platform. AI-based data quality, high performance and fast time-to-market ensure efficiency, transparency and clear differentiation in competition in the future.

From PIM in-house development to multi-domain MDM

The project pursued the vision of creating a consistent world of articles in which 40 million products — from books to non-book assortments — flow together in a single, reliable data truth. The basis for this should be a powerful, scalable PIM that can handle the variety of different data providers as well as hundreds of thousands of daily updates.
